Awakenings Retreat: Come experience God’s love in a powerful way at Awakenings, a retreat held once each semester. Meet other students and build relationships at this student-led retreat held at Cross Pointe Retreat Center at the Lake of the Ozarks. Fellow students give talks and lead discussion groups. The cost is $50 and financial aid is available if needed.
Freshman Ignite Retreat: Ignite is a 2-day retreat for incoming freshman students each fall. You will meet other students who want to live out their faith in college while learning more about the Newman Center and how you can get involved in your faith community on campus.
Busy Person’s Retreat: During this retreat, you will meet with a spiritual director for 45 minutes each day and commit to 30 minutes of personal prayer each day while still going to classes, work and all of your other life commitments.
SEEK Conference: Held each year in January, Newman takes a large group of students to the SEEK Conference, hosted by FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students). Students pay their own way, but Newman will subsidize a portion of the registration fees and help students fundraise.
Cor ad Cor Silent Retreat: Cor Ad Cor" is a silent retreat focused on receiving and responding to God's call. Participants are encouraged to step back from decisions and focus on their relationship with God. This retreat is open to all college-age students, including graduates. You'll hear talks from spiritual leaders, then spend time in quiet reflection and prayer.
"Cor ad Cor" will take place February 7-9, 2025 at the Marianist Retreat Center in Eureka, MO. We will begin at the retreat site at 5pm on Friday, Feb. 7 and conclude on Sunday Feb. 9 at Noon. The registration deadline is Tuesday Feb. 4.

Newman is fortunate to have FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Student Missionaries) serving as a part of the Campus Ministry Team. The missionaries lead bible studies, accompany students in formation, and teach students how to lead bible studies of their own. Please reach out to them at
