Text: Richard R. Gaillardetz and Catherine E. Clifford. Keys to the Council: Unlocking the Teaching of Vatican II. Collegeville, Minnesota: Liturgical Press, 2012. pb $13.70 (Amazon) The Latin titles in the calendar below are of the major documents of Vatican II. The readings are in English.

For each class, I will provide a brief background for the Keys readings. The remainder of our time together will be for discussion of the readings, so it is crucial that participants do the readings. Ideally, read with a notepad handy to jot down WOWs! HUHs? and “What this means to me” sort of notes. You can write as much as you like to help with the discussion, but notes of some kind are required.
