Adult Faith Formation

FAITH is not simply believing in the existence of God.  Existence by itself is a rather boring thing.  A person can “exist” without ever speaking, sharing thoughts, and personally communicating. God does more than “exist” and adult faith formation is freely and intelligently moving toward a closer relationship with God and all our sisters and brothers.  This sense of movement, this sense of journey characterizes a life of faith.  It is a life marked by challenge and change. The purpose of adult faith formation at St. Thomas More Newman Center is to assist pilgrims like you to continue your faith journey.

Adult Small Groups

Resident Small Groups are starting again at this fall at St. Thomas More Newman Center! We offer multiple small groups so there’s one to fit your busy schedule. Grow in your faith with Jesus and with other fellow parishioners. Email smallgroups@comonewman.org to sign up or with questions. Sessions will begin the week of October 9.

The Gospel of Mark — Sr. Karen

  • Mark reveals the human side of Jesus, our call to trust and discipleship, and the challenge of service to others as the way we daily take up the cross and follow Jesus.
  • Thursdays from 10- 11:30 a.m. in the Disciples Room
